Meet the Team
Co-Founder & Maker
Jon works with schools, cultural institutions and community based organizations to create after school programs that are hands-on, engaging, and promote knowledge in STEM. As co-founder of HTINK, Jon has helped start Young Maker programs throughout the New York tri-state area. He has also worked with MakerBot Industries to develop 3-D printing curriculum and professional development workshops for teachers. Jon graduated from the MIT where he worked with the FabLab program, a global initiative to bring digital fabrication laboratories to communities around the world.

Nelson is a Digital & Electronic Artist, Technologist, Tinkerer, Maker, Educator and Designer. Formed as an engineer and computer scientist, he has been exploring the intersections between art, design, science and technology fot over 10 years. He has worked as an educator ranging from Graduate Programs to 2nd grade elementary & also worked in large custom made interactive commercial projects. He received his Masters degree from NYU's ITP. He works in human/computer interactions and creating experiences through visuals, spaces and objects.
Workshop Facilitator - STEAM Instructor & Maker
Oya is an Industrial Product Designer and Maker with a passion for technology & education. She received her masters from NYU's ITP. She co-created and ran a Girls Technology Camp at Adler Planetarium for four years and she continues to teach after school programs using technology in creative ways. Her latest focus is to create physical interpretations of programming languages to find tactile ways to explain coding. She loves making animations, illustrations and jewelry designs when she is not developing curriculum or playing with electronics.
